Coverage

One floor, one roster, fifty states.

TEKS serves U.S. operations nationwide from a single bilingual operations floor in the Monterrey metropolitan area, with contracting and account management through Arlington, Texas. There is no branch network — your program is staffed by a dedicated team that knows your portfolio, wherever your customers are.

How national coverage works

Distance is not the variable. Overlap is.

A collections or customer-service program does not need an office near your customers. It needs agents who are awake when your customers are, who can be reached by your managers the same afternoon, and who work inside the system your operation already runs on. A branch in a distant city delivers none of those things; a dedicated team on an aligned clock delivers all three.

The Monterrey metropolitan area holds Central Standard Time all year: Mexico ended seasonal clock changes in 2022 and kept the exception only for border municipalities, which Guadalupe is not. From November to March the floor and Texas keep the same clock exactly; from March to November the floor runs an hour behind U.S. Central, and rosters move forward to match. Coverage is scheduled against your clock either way, so nothing about your working day changes in March. The floor is roughly two hours by air from Dallas–Fort Worth, which puts it inside the working day of every U.S. time zone, close enough for onboarding visits, and in the same bilingual labor market that makes English and Spanish delivery standard rather than a premium.

What does vary by geography is law. Statutes of limitation, wage-garnishment posture, repossession notice requirements and — most importantly for first-party work — whether a state’s debt collection act reaches original creditors all differ state to state. Teams assigned to a portfolio are briefed on the applicable state rules before taking a call, and the collections support program is run to Regulation F operating standards everywhere regardless of classification.

Time zones

Scheduled to your customers' clock, not ours.

Contact windows follow the consumer's local time in every program — the Regulation F standard, and the only version that makes operational sense.

  • Eastern

1 hour ahead of the floor in winter, 2 in summer

Shifts start earlier so the 8 a.m. contact window opens on time.

  • Central

Same clock in winter, 1 hour ahead in summer

The closest overlap there is with the operations floor and the Arlington office.

  • Mountain

1 hour behind the floor in winter, same clock in summer

Afternoon and early-evening queues carry the coverage.

  • Pacific

2 hours behind in winter, 1 in summer

Later shifts cover the West Coast working day to 9 p.m. local.

Contracting, account management and client reporting run through TEKS Solutions LLC in Arlington. Agents work from the operations floor in Guadalupe, Nuevo León. Both keep Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Central.

Which states does TEKS serve?
All fifty states and the District of Columbia. Programs are delivered from the operations floor in Guadalupe, Nuevo León, in the Monterrey metropolitan area, with contracting and account management through TEKS Solutions LLC in Arlington, Texas.
Do you have an office in my city?
No, and that is the point of the model. There is one operations floor and one U.S. office rather than a branch network, so your program is staffed by a dedicated team that knows your account rather than by whoever is nearest. Contact happens by phone, SMS and email inside your systems, on your customers' local schedule.
How do you handle time zones across the country?
The floor holds Central Standard Time all year and shifts are scheduled around the portfolio's time zones. Contact windows always follow the consumer's local time — no contact before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m. where they are, not where the agent is — which is the Regulation F standard every program is run to.
Is TEKS licensed as a collection agency in my state?
TEKS does not take placements in its own name and does not hold itself out as a licensed third-party collection agency. Agents work as an extension of your team, inside your systems and under your name, so your organization remains the creditor. Whether a specific engagement is classified as first-party servicing or third-party collection under the FDCPA depends on how it is structured and is determined with your counsel.
Do state collection laws affect a first-party program?
Yes. Several states have debt collection statutes that reach original creditors and their agents, where the federal FDCPA generally does not. Because our agents work in your name, the rules that bind you bind them, and teams assigned to a portfolio are briefed on the applicable state rules before taking a call.
Why is there no page for my city?
Because there is nothing city-specific to say. The rules that vary are state rules and the operating model is identical everywhere, so a page per city would repeat the same content under a different name without helping anyone decide anything. State-specific legal detail is published only after counsel review.
